This is mainly a post to remind myself to stop relying so heavily on using Power Query to do everything. I am almost certain that if I learned how to use Power Pivot, it would do all of the things I keep doing in Power Query much faster.

Today I used Power Query to create multiple tables based off one data source. I think that once I had that data source loaded and transformed in the way I wanted, I should have loaded it to the data model and produced the rest of my outputs with Power Pivot.
It’s just hard to start learning a new tool when you have one that you know how to use and you know it does the job!
I’ll put Power Pivot back on my learning plans, I don’t think I can skip it really.
